Description

With limited supervision from the Senior Director of Systems Operations, responsible for representing the Company in its business with airports, ground handlers throughout the Air Wisconsin Airlines portfolio. Develops, implements and monitors the policies, procedures, programs and practices at each airport to ensure the realization of Company goals and objectives.

Job Functions:



  • Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
  • Develops and implements policies, procedures and programs which facilitate and ensure all customers receive high quality professional service.
  • Performs station audits in accordance with internal evaluation program and develop corrective action.
  • Manages budgets and maintains cost control margins for assigned stations.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable Company, FAA and other governmental regulations and requirements pertaining to station operations.
  • Oversees performance monitoring, as well as the analysis of load factors and revenue data on an ongoing basis to ensure operational strategies are realized and costs are controlled.
  • Represents Air Wisconsin at meetings with other airlines and/or industry representatives, airport management, government and civic officials relative to station operations. States the Company's position when appropriate and necessary at such meetings.
  • Enforces regulatory and Company policy compliance to improve workplace and employee safety and readiness.
  • Oversees and ensures compliance and tracking of FAA, Company, and ground service providers' mandated training requirements.


Required Competencies:



  • High degree of professionalism and ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the airline industry specifically as it relates to all phases of station/ airport operations.
  • Ability to plan, organize, implement, monitor and evaluate long and short-term programs.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.


Education & Experience:

Required:





    • 3 years' experience in Aviation Management, Station Operations or related field
    • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen and fingerprinting




Preferred:





    • Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Finance, Legal, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Based in MKE
