Job Title: Japanese Bilingual IT Administrator
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA (Onsite)
Department: IT
Hours: M- F 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Classified: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Overview:
A Japanese company is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Administrator to join their team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. A critical aspect of this role will be managing access to shared servers and resources using MS 365/SharePoint/Intune. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support to our employees, managing the company intranet, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of Windows systems, networking, and Microsoft 365, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:
* Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
* Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
* Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
* Manage network infrastructure, including domain connections, network configurations, remote desktop access, VPN connections, and printer setups.
* Administer Microsoft Office 365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online.
* Configure and troubleshoot employee email accounts.
* Support mobile devices (iPhones, Android tablets), audio/visual equipment, and other office technology.
* Conduct employee training sessions on IT systems and software.
* Participate in the planning and implementation of new IT projects, including hardware and software upgrades.
* Manage access to shared servers and resources using MS 365/SharePoint/Intune.
* Design, develop, and maintain departmental portals on the company intranet.
* Troubleshoot and resolve database issues related to MySQL.
* Provide technical support for Microsoft Dynamics applications (if applicable).
* Collaborate with external IT vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager.
Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience in an IT support or systems administration role.
* Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and PC hardware.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online.
* Experience with MySQL database administration and Microsoft Dynamics applications (preferred).
* Experience with troubleshooting and resolving a variety of IT issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical users.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to create clear and concise documentation.
* Fluency in Japanese and English (business conversation level or higher).

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
