  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Job Summary:

As Program Director, Internet of Things (IoT) and Mobility at Endeavor Health, you will lead the strategic development and implementation of IoT initiatives across Endeavor's hospitals. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and create value through IoT solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IoT technologies, market trends, and the ability to collaborate across various departments to achieve business objectives.

This role is critical in enhancing patient care, optimizing staff efficiency, and improving overall system functionality through the seamless integration of connected devices. The candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare technology, project management, regulatory compliance, and security.

What you will do:

  • Leadership in Deployment: Lead initiatives related to the implementation of IoT technologies and mobility solutions within the hospital system, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and patient care standards.
  • Integration Focus: Drive the seamless integration of connected devices, working closely with clinical and operational teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline workflows.
  • Collaboration with Security Teams: Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure that all IoT and mobility solutions adhere to data privacy regulations and industry standards, safeguarding patient information and maintaining trust.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, IT staff, and administrative leaders, to gather requirements and ensure successful project execution.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of IoT and mobility solutions, providing regular updates to senior management on progress and outcomes.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of IoT solutions and provide feedback and guidance for improvement and innovation.
  • Project management: Engages with agile development teams to deliver high-quality product requirements that clearly map to the desired outcomes.
  • Solution design: Develops a deep understanding of Endeavor's donor and patient experience to develop requirements for digital engagement solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging IoT technologies and trends in healthcare, recommending enhancements and innovations to improve system functionality and patient care.
  • Training and Support: Define training programs and collaborate with Training team to ensure effective use of IoT and mobility solutions, fostering a culture of technology adoption within the organization.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, or a relevant related field. (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in IoT and mobility in a healthcare setting or relevant related industries. Three (3) or more years of leadership experience as defined as essential to the role.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Strong understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects with efficiency.
  • Significant domain knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify, plan and execute IoT and mobility strategic initiatives.
  • Strong personal and ethical accountability
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking for problem solving / issue resolution
  • Strong analytics experience with big data, next-generation technologies, data science, and machine learning.
