We are seeking a Tax Senior Associate for our International Tax group with strong technical expertise, and ability to deliver excellent client service. We require strong research skills, excellent planning and project management skills, and the ability to utilize tax processing software, while engaging and motivating team members, and providing timely feedback.

Among the responsibilities for this role are the following;

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of U.S. international tax concepts and topics.
  • Research international tax matters and draft memoranda.
  • Detail review U.S. international tax forms prepared by associates.
  • Prepare U.S. International tax forms for more complex engagements.
  • Identify and assist in International Tax Consulting engagements.
  • Ensure client work is performed on time and within appropriate scope of services and budget.
  • Stay alert to client needs that may result in growth opportunities for the firm and communicate same to client service coordinator.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a minimum of a BA/BS Degree - preferably in Accounting or related field of study.
  • Requires a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of tax law/rules and implications.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing US international tax forms (e.g., Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 8992, 8993 and 1118, and Schedules K-2/K-3).
  • Experience researching and analyzing tax issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA, JD or LL.M.
  • Experience with a national or large regional accounting firm.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $151,300

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
