We value and rely on the unique talents and contributions of our employees to absolutely excel in member engagement by Delivering Signature Experience.Salary Grade: CESalary Pay Range for This Position: $68,640.00 - $91,000.00POSITION SUMMARY: The Wealth Advisor (WA) will build strong relationships with members through comprehensive financial planning, progressive investment strategies and exceptional personalized service. The primary focus of the WA will be his or her existing book of business which will also lead to the development of new relationships. The WA is responsible for advisory recommendations that meet the needs of members over the long term. In addition, this position will provide ongoing goal based planning to members such as retirement planning, college planning, long term care, income planning and life insurance. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: Advise members regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products. Acquire new members through networking, seminars and educational forums. Assist in retaining and building on existing member relationships. Prepare customized comprehensive goal based plans and portfolios Conduct annual advisory reviews with members in existing book of business. Stay current and analyze market conditions, stay informed and current about financial and investment options. Make presentations to members on financial and retirement planning options and opportunities. Develop business relationships with outside centers of influence such as CPA's, attorneys, local advisory boards, civic associations and other individuals and organizations that will enhance business development efforts. Direct consultation with attorneys, accountants and professionals on matters such as financial, tax and estate planning. Develop and deliver wealth education sessions to both members and employees on a quarterly basis. Drive practice and program growth by working with Investment Manager to implement business development initiatives. Develop and update business plan with Investment Services Manager. Conduct business in compliance with all regulatory and firm rules and regulations. Adhere to Wescom Policies as outlined in the employee handbook. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Strong understanding of wealth management, including fee- based consulting, mutual funds, managed money platforms, insurance, annuities, and financial planning. Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years investment sales experience. CFP, CFA, MBA, CIMA designations preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Required FINRA Series 7, 65 or 66, and California Department of Insurance Life and Disability. COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
