T-Mobile Device Supply Chain Team is seeking a Technical Product Manager with Inventory Management, Supply Chain, and/or Retail knowledge and experience with Agile Scrum Methodologies. This team leads efforts for developing and maintaining IT applications and services that enable T-Mobile to make available wireless and connectivity devices to T-Mobile customers (individual consumers and business/enterprise customers). This team is passionate about meeting customer expectations on delivery timeliness, delivery method and support their full device lifecycle needs.
The Technical Product Manager is ultimately accountable, responsible, and has ownership of T-Mobile's internal and external products, platforms, services, experiences envisioned and built to achieve the specific business purpose or business results. At a high level this means identifying the intersection of customer problems/unmet needs (an opportunity), technical feasibility, business goals, securing funding, and leading a cross-functional business and technical team, as well as key partners to deliver against the opportunity. The TPM works with the Product Team, Architects, and development partners to ensure that content is technically feasible and assists the team in solutioning business requirements and converting them into testable Features and User Stories for the development teams.

Job Description
- 5+ years of relevant Technical Product Management experience in an Agile software product development environment with Agile Scrum methodologies
- 3+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role writing production code, solution engineering, or technical architecture in large scale company / application / product environment.
- Experience with Supply Chain, Retail, and/or Inventory Management within a large organization.
- Strong requirements elicitation, and confirmed writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences.
- Experience with Jira or other agile development tools, as well as usage of Unified Modeling Language (UML) constructs in design documentation.
- Proficient with SQL, API Swagger, UML tools (PlantUML/Visio/Lucid Chart).
- Knowledge of Java 8, Springboot, Apigee (XML, Javascript, Python), Cassandra DB Query language, Deep.io/Kalfka and other full stack technologies
- Proven success in delivering software
- Experience delivering large and sophisticated business/technology initiatives as a Technical Product Manager.
- Proven ability to connect with Leadership effectively and efficiently, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with SAP or Oracle ERP.
- Prior experience working with digital applications supporting Supply Chain functions.
- Certifications in SAP, Oracle, or Supply Chain Management
Responsibilities: Vision, Strategy and Analysis
- Owns product end to end for products or features with moderate level of complexity and scope. This includes crafting, managing, maintaining, and communicating product vision and strategy including technical vision and capabilities.
- Drives end-user product research.
- Partners with business and internal/external collaborators to understand current customer experience, identifies areas of opportunity.
Customer Evangelist
- Brings to bear customer insights for product vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities.
- Dedicates time to customers, actively meeting with them to build deeper empathy and understand their needs and priorities.
- Build, manage, foster an active VOC (Voice of Customer) feed for themselves and team.
Product Execution & Technical Delivery
- Translates product/platform strategy by writing detailed features and user stories consumable for Dev teams for moderately sophisticated products. This work may include creation of prototypes.
- Collaborates with PM and Dev leaders to design, architect and assemble effective Agile delivery teams in the Agile Release Train.
- Runs or contributes significantly to key Agile ceremonies: Program Increment (PI) Planning / Big Room Planning; Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, System Demo; Inspect and Adapt (I&A), etc.
Relationship & People, Professional Development
- Collaborates and develops positive working relationships with many technical and non-technical teams, including Marketing, Legal, Go-to[1]market, Finance, Compliance, Corporate Security, Development, Operations, Supply Chain Business, Architecture, Engineering.
- Manages development of adoption tools and training materials for Technical Product Management and Supply Chain Development/Operations teams.
Base Pay Range: $103,400 - $186,400
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
