Cybersecurity Test and Evaluation Specialist

MicroHealth is seeking aCybersecurity Test and Evaluation Specialist to support our organization in enhancing the security posture of our systems, particularly FEMADex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity testing, vulnerability assessment, and resilience strategies.

**T3 or T4 investigation required

**This is an on-site position

Location: FEMA headquarters in DC- 400/500 C Street SW, Washington, D.C., or other Government-specified locations in the metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, execution, and reporting for testing events and assessments, including but not limited to Operational Assessments (OAs) within an active Agile development process on a system in a production environment.
  • Develop, plan, execute, and report on Cyber Table Top (CTT) exercises
  • Conduct Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessments (CVPAs)
  • Test FEMADex against realistic cyber threats in secure environments.
  • Develop cyber resilience strategies, test plans, and decision support measures.
  • Perform regular threat assessments, including Open-Source Intelligence gathering
  • Prepare detailed test reports and artifacts for each development sprint.
  • Analyze FEMADex attack surfaces and kill chains.
  • Support maintenance of Authorization to Operate (ATO) for FEMADex.
  • Review acquisition and requirements documents for testability and relevance.
  • Developing the cyber resilience T&E strategy, including explanations of vulnerability identification and adversarial assessments
  • Documenting integrated testing plans and ensuring appropriate reflection of operational considerations, including business-driven measures of effectiveness (MOEs) and measures of performance (MOPs).
  • Working with and providing T&E support to system developers and system users (including but not limited to the planning and execution of system user testing, which may involve User Design Testing [UDT], User Feedback Testing [UFT], and User Acceptance Testing [UAT]), where applicable.
Required Qualifications:
  • 9+ years of experience & Bachelors in related field required.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity and penetration testing
  • Experience with vulnerability assessments and threat modeling
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and ATO processes
  • Proficiency in testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
Salary:
  • $120,000- $130,000
