Sr QA Application Testing Specialist

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior QA Application Testing Specialist to join our team.

You will work alongside the application team to support multiple software applications of varying complexity for a federal government client. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing manual and automated test plans, test scripts, and test methodologies to ensure compliance with software/system requirements. You will work on an agile team that is highly collaborative, fast-paced, and made up of dedicated and fun-loving professionals who are respectful, supportive, and appreciative of each other.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Sr QA Application Testing Specialist: $98,000 to $108,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Sr QA Application Testing Specialist Responsibilities Include:

• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts, including test data, data validation, harness scripts, and automated scripts.
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
• Participate in or hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
• Identify any potential quality issues per the defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Sr QA Application Testing Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• 4+ years of QA or related technical experience.
• 4+ years of experience working on full-lifecycle software development projects.
• Demonstrated experience working as part of a Scrum team.
• Experience with defect-tracking tools.
• Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
• Ability to create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases.
• Liaison with development, project management, and customer support.
• Excellent communication and team skills.
• Problem-Solving.
• Attention to Detail.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
