Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified developer with experience in Angular 19+, JavaScript, and Typescript, developing and building hard-working, scalable enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. Location: Jersey City, NJ or New York, NY - US (Hybrid)

• Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular.
• Implement reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components.
• Collaborate with backend developers and other teams to ensure seamless integration with APIs.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI-related issues to enhance the user experience.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and frontend frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with designers to create a seamless user experience.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related and 5+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on Angular.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Angular 19+, TypeScript and building scalable Angular applications.
• Proficiency in state management libraries such as NgRx or RxJS.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating UI with backend services.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

The annual salary for this position is between $62,422K - $114K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
