Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $19 +$2/hour shift differential Shift: 1st, 3rd Hours: 6:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday + OT, 8:30pm-6:30am Monday-Thursday + OT Are you looking for a hands-on role with a reputable company? Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Follow all safety rules and contribute to a safe work environment - Set up and operate various machines, including table saw, chop saw, miter saw, table router, drill press, planer/sander along with hand tools - Check in parts, verify counts, and ensure quality control - Perform daily maintenance checks and report issues - Troubleshoot and conduct preventive maintenance on machines - Collaborate with the team to meet production goals Machine Operator Requirements: - A stable work history and consistent employment record, including 1 year + previous machine operating experience - Ability to read measurement tools - Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to or exceeding 50lbs - Ability to stand or walk for an entire 8-10 hour shift QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
