Position Title: Trimming- 1st Shift
Wage: $14.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Monday - Friday) QPS Employment Group is hiring a Trimming- 1st Shift for a company in Manitowoc WI. Trimming- 1st Shift Responsibilities: - Inspects and reviews plastic parts right after they are molded to make sure that there are no defects in the parts - Uses a variety of hand tools and power equipment to perform necessary trimming parts to meet the part specifications including heat gun, scraper, etc - Properly identifies and prevents defective parts from being used - Provides coverage for Machine Operator - Ensures that parts are in accordance with customer and qualify specifications, while maintaining an appropriate production pace Requirements for Trimming- 1st Shift: - Occasional stooping, bending, squatting, crouching or reaching above the shoulders - Prolonged Standing - Prolonged Sitting - Repetitive Bending - Hand/Eye Work - Grasping/Pinching - Pushing/Pulling - Lifting 10-20lbs. - Lifting 20-30lbs. - Lifting 30-40lbs. - Minimum of High School Diploma - Prior production experience in a manufacturing setting preferred - Ability to utilize computer platforms to access work instructions - Safety Awareness-Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety - Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English is required - Ability to perform critical thinking and problem solving - High attention to detail - Ability to perform simple math and measurements QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
