VTG Defense is seeking a BPA/Process Improvement Analyst in Chantilly, VA


What will you do?

Key Role
Conduct business process analysis and process improvement for the client's recruiting organization. Work closely with stakeholders to understand current business rules and processes, identify challenges or areas of opportunity, and develop recommendations and options for improvement or changes. Coordinate across multiple levels of the organization to gather input and obtain buy-in for client initiatives.

Become familiar with tools and systems used by team members and understand the relationship and impacts between process and system changes to improve the user and candidate experience. Create documents and visuals outlining complex problems for a lay audience to use in decision-making. Capture and document standard operating procedures and business process maps to clearly convey business operations and support user education. Coordinate with relevant teams to develop implementation and communication plans for business process changes.


Do you have what it takes?

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of work experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working collaboratively with team members, government clients, and stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong critical thinking skills - ability to analyze and evaluate alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Ability to analyze and organize information
Strong presentation skills - ability to present ideas clearly and logically

Additional Qualifications
Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
Experience with Microsoft Visio
Knowledge or certification in change management, business process improvement, agile software development, or Lean Six Sigma
Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make progress under ambiguity and uncertainty
Ability to perform in a high-paced work environment with multiple competing priorities
Interest in information technology
