What you'll be doing...

Be a driving force in the future of telecommunications! We're seeking a passionate and skilled Solution Architect to join our world-class team building a cutting-edge centralized platform for network performance and autonomous network use cases. Utilizing the latest in OLAP and Data modeling technologies, we're developing end-to-end solutions that will revolutionize network performance and customer experiences.

You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • Collaborating with a diverse group of engineers, business owners, and industry experts to design and architect strategic solutions.

  • Leveraging your deep understanding of multi-tier application development frameworks to drive end-to-end architecture design.

  • Providing technical leadership on the network performance platform team, drawing on your extensive knowledge of relevant processes, methodologies, and technologies.

  • Guiding cross-functional teams in crafting innovative solutions, clearly communicating the impact on existing systems and processes.

  • Championing industry best practices, incorporating emerging tools and technologies in the autonomous network domain.

  • Defining and documenting business and architectural requirements, preparing project estimations, and proposing innovative technical solutions.

  • Participating in all phases of solution development, from initial planning and design to implementation and go-live, ensuring alignment with SOE/SRE standards.

  • Designing and developing reusable, scalable data models that effectively meet business needs.

  • Fostering a culture of technical excellence by advocating for best software engineering practices and actively participating in code and design reviews.

  • Collaborating effectively with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to establish and document high-level solution intent.

  • Conducting feasibility analysis and vendor evaluation, leading HLD effort, and supporting deployment.

What we're looking for...

You're a subject matter expert in distributed systems with data-intensive applications (handle large quantities of data, multiple terabytes and petabytes) and grow with learning and developing new approaches to make systems more reliable.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience with overall IT architecture, design, and systems development preferably in Telecom Core & RAN Systems Performance domains

  • Experience in distributed systems with data-intensive applications and data ingestion/processing frameworks such as Apache Flink, Spark, Kafka

  • Understanding of multi-tier application development to drive end-to-end architecture design

  • Experience with high-performing OLAP databases such as Starrocks, ClickHouse etc.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science.

  • Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks.

  • Experience in Containers orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Managed Kubernetes

  • Hands-on experience in programming languages C, C++, Java, Python, Springboot, Golang

  • Experience in Data Quality, Lineage, Governance and Data Modeling: Logical/Conceptual data models

  • Experience in Big data formats like Apache Parque, Orc, Avro, data pipeline design & ETL frameworks

  • Experience with object-oriented programming, SOA, modular code development, design patterns, and multi-threading.

  • Experience in providing solutions for modernization, computing and storage architectures

  • Experience in understanding of wireline and wireless Core and RAN networks, network collection protocols such as SNMP, TL1, gRPC

  • Experience in Data storage formats - Iceberg/Delta and Data retrieval, Databricks/Snowflake and Airflow orchestration

  • Possess good communication skills (Verbal and written) with interpersonal and negotiating skills.

  • Experience in contribution to Industry forums (e.g., Openconfig, 3GPP, TMForum, MEF).
