Senior Web Developer

The Senior Web Developer is part of the development team responsible for maintaining the credit union's internal and external websites. This position builds custom integrations with 3rd party systems/APIs, designs code, creates relational databases, and tests all projects.

• Maintain credit union's internal and external websites.
• Produce a consistent visual image on the site by promoting uniform fonts, formatting, branding, icons, images, layout techniques, and modularization.
• Research new technologies and trends in internet communications. Apply current technologies and standards to website functions.
• Design, code, and test web based technical solutions.
• Maintain relationship and act as liaison between the Credit Union and 3rd party vendors.
• Work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
• Work with 3^rd parties and create cohesive solutions by leveraging APIs, SDKs, or other similar methods.
• Implement secure coding and data protection best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Develop and support projects from conception to implementation.
• Collaborate with Technology Services when needed to create, configure, and support web server environments.
• Ability to translate complex data and situations into simple and precise language for the rest of the organization.
• On call availability required for system support as needed (includes nights and weekends).
