Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Networking and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, focusing on designing, deploying, and managing secure cloud-based network solutions. This role emphasizes expertise in cloud networking, infrastructure, and security, with a preference for familiarity with Fortinet products and strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The engineer will architect and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud environments while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise security practices.



  • Design and implement cloud-native network architectures and security solutions using GCP and Fortinet products (where applicable).


  • Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity in GCP.


  • Integrate Fortinet security solutions (e.g., FortiGate, FortiWeb, FortiAnalyzer) into cloud and hybrid environments to enhance network security.


  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud network performance, security, and availability.


  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, security monitoring, and reporting using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or GCP-native solutions.


  • Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.


  • Document cloud network designs, security policies, and operational procedures.


  • Collaborate across teams to support 24x7 operations and provide escalation support when required.


  • Keep leadership informed of infrastructure and security status, risks, and recommendations.


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud networking, infrastructure, or network security.


  • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including VPC, Cloud Armor, Cloud Load Balancing, and Cloud VPN.


  • Familiarity with Fortinet products (e.g., FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP) or equivalent network security solutions.


  • Strong understanding of cloud networking principles, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, VPN), and security technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS).


  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager) and automation frameworks.


  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


  • Willingness to travel to office sites as needed.


  • Ability and willingness to undergo additional background screening for working with US Government customers.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


  • Certifications in GCP (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Network Engineer) or Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE).


  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS.


  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures.


  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) in GCP.
