What you'll do

The Marketing Director for Top 10 Accounts will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy and execution for our organization's most strategic and high-value clients. This individual will collaborate closely with key partners, including sales, customer success, product marketing, regional marketing, experiential marketing, and executives, to deliver personalized, high-impact marketing programs designed to strengthen relationships and drive growth within the top 10 key accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record in 1:1 account-based marketing (ABM), strategic account management, and developing tailored marketing campaigns that align with client objectives. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and a deep understanding of the customer journey.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Growth Marketing Director.

Responsibility

  • Identify the top 10 high-value accounts by collaborating closely with sales and leadership teams, and use criteria such as revenue potential, strategic alignment, and key performance metrics to target the most promising accounts

  • Work with sales, customer success, and leadership teams to understand each top account's unique business goals, challenges, and objectives, ensuring a tailored approach to marketing strategies

  • Partner with cross-functional teams-including sales, customer success, regional marketing, experiential marketing, and product marketing-to align marketing strategies with account priorities, opportunities, and growth potential

  • Develop and implement customized 1:1 marketing strategies for each top 10 account, aimed at enhancing customer engagement, nurturing long-term relationships, and driving revenue growth

  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., content marketing, events, webinars, executive roundtables, EBCs, digital ads) to enhance engagement, deepen relationships, and secure long-term client success

  • Oversee the creation of tailored content, including case studies, videos, presentations, and other marketing collateral, ensuring it effectively showcases the company's capabilities and value proposition to each target account

  • Work with the events and EBC teams to plan and implement high-impact, seamless experiences that reinforce brand awareness, foster client relationships, and drive deeper client engagement

  • Manage budgets and timelines for all marketing initiatives, ensuring that campaigns are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with overall business objectives

  • Represent the marketing function in client meetings and events, reinforcing the company's value proposition and cultivating stronger relationships with key stakeholders at top accounts

  • Define and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and return on investment of marketing initiatives, and use analytics tools to monitor success, provide actionable insights, and continuously optimize marketing strategies for top accounts

  • Update senior management and internal collaborators regularly on the status and effectiveness of marketing programs and key initiatives, providing insights to ensure continued alignment with business goals

  • Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to ensure the company remains a trusted, relevant partner

  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and refine positioning strategies


Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 12+ years of experience in marketing
  • 3+ years in a senior or leadership role
  • Experience maintaining relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field

Preferred

  • Proven success in account-based marketing (ABM), strategic marketing, or enterprise-level marketing for high-value clients
  • Strong understanding of marketing technologies, including CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation tools (e.g., Eloqua, Iterable), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau)
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and thrive under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Master's degree
  • Experience working in technology
  • Certification in Digital Marketing, Account-Based Marketing, or related areas.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Confluence, Jira)

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $134,900.00 - $216,975.00 base salary

Washington: $129,000.00 - $190,550.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
