Job Summary

An individual in this position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and execution of key organizational and strategic priorities impacting culture and transformation of Corewell Health. Individuals in this position are well rounded in a variety of methodologies/frameworks and possess creative skillsets while being compassionate, curious, courageous, and collaborative. Individuals may be a subject matter expert in or act as a role model for, change management, Project Management, Process Improvement, etc. This role develops relationships with leaders across the organization, departments, teams, and individual levels, as well as other stakeholders in order to strengthen team effectiveness, strategic alignment and improve operational performance outcomes. Serves as an expert resource to leadership through coaching, organizational design, and change management processes. Ensures consistency and synergy in operational processes and systems

Essential Functions
  • Partners with leadership and supporting departments in developing and executing strategies, including improving performance of projects that align the workforce with key business strategies and initiatives.
  • Communicates, collaborates, networks with leaders and supporting departments in order to ensure continuity and coordination of operational and strategic priorities across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Responsible for strengthening employee and leadership knowledge and abilities to maintains the overall health of the organization.
  • Acts as an advisor to stakeholders/operational leaders when adjustments need to be made to plans by skillfully applying tools from Project Management, SAFe/Agile, Change Management, Process Improvement, Design Thinking/Innovation and Organizational Design.
  • Helps to assess risk for various organization development-related initiatives and suggests actions to mitigate negative impact.
  • Supports navigation of project execution framework by leveraging project management tools and skillsets, when necessary, to assure visibility and successful execution of work.
  • Fosters knowledge transfer, best practices and training related to all elements included in the communities of practice, ensuring processes are implemented appropriately.
  • Develop and refine content material as needed for workshops, training, and team coaching sessions.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant experience of applicable business function experience or other related experience
  • 6 months of relevant experience coaching typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities, as demonstrated by:
    • Ability to teach and give feedback.
      o Ability to coach leaders at manager, director, senior director, section chief and divisional chief levels.
      o Ability to negotiate and influence within a collaborative coaching typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities, as demonstrated by:
      o Ability to teach and give feedback.
      o Ability to coach leaders at manager, director, senior director, section chief and divisional chief levels.
      o Ability to negotiate and influence within a collaborative structure. Anticipate trends/consequences and create innovative strategies and flexible plans.
