RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with process owners and business analysts to understand the challenges that face Tier 2/NOCs with their handling of Network and Application Incidents that are derived from monitoring.
  • Recommends viable solutions that improve the effectiveness of the Fault platform.
  • Provides input into story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning.
  • Provides and contributes to low-level solution designs to support projects and enhancements.
  • Performs data analysis, coding, testing, integration, and maintenance of applications.
  • Assists in reviewing the current technical architecture, including design patterns and development methodologies.
  • Understand the proposed technical architecture and write software that is aligned with agreed-upon standards.
  • Performs trouble-shooting efforts and investigations when necessary.
  • Provides ongoing support, and maintenance of deployed products.
  • Actively participates in the engineering community, staying up to date on new software technologies and best practices and shares insights with others in the organization.


QUALIFICATIONS

What we are looking for

  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills to debug issues related to the operations of software platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in the installation, configuration and troubleshooting with Network
  • Monitoring systems, preferably IBM Netcool or similar product.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
  • Unit Testing, Data Testing projects both small and large scale.
  • Use of distributed version control software such as Git Repository.
  • Experience working in an Agile Team environment.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, (preferably Computer Science). The right candidate could have a different combination, such as 4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience developing in one of the following languages: Java, C#, Python or similar.
  • Proficiency with Unix Operating Systems such as Linux, and JavaScript.


Preferred:

  • 1 years' experience working with network monitoring or similar software solutions.


USD 72,200.00 - 108,200.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $72,200.00 - $108,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
