Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC area)

Position Summary:

The Demand Generation Director will lead the creation and execution of comprehensive demand generation strategies, managing multi-channel campaigns (email, social media, events, etc.) while aligning marketing efforts with business goals. This role involves driving account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives, optimizing technology tools like HubSpot and Salesforce, and collaborating cross-functionally with sales and product teams to refine lead generation processes. The director will also focus on data-driven insights, campaign performance measurement, and team leadership to maximize ROI and accelerate pipeline growth.

Position Responsibilities:

Demand Generation Strategy & Execution




  • Strategy Development & Leadership: Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive demand generation strategy and roadmap for Capital Rx, aligning campaigns with business goals. As both a leader and individual contributor, you will design, plan, launch, manage, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns while coaching your direct reports.





  • Multi-Channel Campaigns: Build and execute cross-channel campaigns (email, social media, webinars, events, paid media, etc.) to engage and convert target audiences effectively.





  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Use ABM techniques to create personalized, high-impact campaigns that target strategic accounts and accelerate pipeline growth.





  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product marketing, revenue operations and content teams to align on targets, messaging, buyer personas, campaign execution, and lead management. Collaborate with the sales team to refine lead management processes and reporting strategies.




Technology & Analytics




  • Marketing Technology & Tools: Manage and optimize the use of CRM tools, marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce), and ABM tools (ZoomInfo, etc.) to track and analyze campaign performance. Leverage Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other platforms to maximize campaign reach and effectiveness.





  • Campaign Measurement & Reporting: Establish KPIs to measure ROI, track campaign performance, and report results to stakeholders. Continuously refine strategies based on data insights and performance metrics.




Lead Generation & Sales Alignment




  • Lead Scoring & Nurturing: Develop lead scoring models and implement lead capture strategies across multiple channels to qualify and nurture leads effectively.





  • Web Traffic & SEO: Collaborate with the communications team to optimize SEO efforts to improve organic visibility and drive qualified traffic to the website. Use paid search and media strategies to increase visibility and engagement with prospects.




Campaign Optimization




  • Campaign Innovation & Testing: Experiment with new marketing channels, tactics, and tools to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness. Optimize all aspects of digital marketing, from paid ads to website experience, to enhance lead capture and conversion.




Team Leadership & Culture




  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and build a strong demand generation function inclusive of event marketing and BDRs.





  • Culture Fit & Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Maintain a humble, honest, and growth-oriented approach to both leadership and teamwork.




Budget Allocation & ROI Optimization




  • Budget Management: Effectively allocate and manage campaign budgets, optimizing targeting, creative, media, and overall campaign performance to maximize ROI.




Compliance




  • All employees are responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.




Skills




  • Lifecycle Marketing & Customer Journey Mapping - nurturing leads across different funnel stages





  • Marketing Attribution / Influence Tracking





  • Ability to build and optimize marketing dashboards & reports with tools like Salesforce, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc





  • Familiar with basic web development, HTML & CSS and experience managing a CMS





  • Experience with Sales Enablement - equipping sales with insights, content, and tools, and campaign support.





  • A/B Testing for optimizing campaign messaging and conversion rates





  • Buyer personas & Target Segments: Define buyer personas and target market segments, aligning marketing efforts with customer needs





  • Product Launch Support & GTM Execution




Required Qualifications:




  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.





  • Experience: 10+ years in demand generation, digital marketing, or growth marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in building and scaling B2B marketing campaigns, especially in the healthcare or technology sectors.





  • Skills & Expertise: Expertise in ABM, lead generation, lead nurturing, and working across multiple marketing channels (digital, content, social, paid, and events). Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot, predictive analytics, and AI-powered marketing tools. Strong background in data analysis and translating insights into action.





  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.





  • Passion for Technology: A strong passion for technology with a solid understanding of the tech industry, driving innovation and staying ahead of trends.





  • Self-Starter & Problem Solver: A proactive, creative, and innovative mindset, with a track record of delivering results and continuously improving marketing strategies.





  • Experience managing agency/vendor relationships for paid media or creative production



  • B2B & SaaS experience a plus



  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or employee benefits a plus




Base Salary: $110,000 to $140,000

Visa Sponsorship: Capital Rx does not provide sponsorship to any candidates. This includes, but is not limited to those that require H1-B, TN, OPT, etc. Candidates must have authorization to work in the US at the time of application and throughout employment.
