This is not a remote role - we have a hybrid environment, requiring at least 3 days a week in office.The Senior Manager, Creative Direction role is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing visually stunning and engaging presentations for major brand presentations. This role requires a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to deliver brand moments that captivate and inspire global audiences. This leader will have a vision for the creative, and lead a team of art directors, designers, and motion design team through execution. Communication design is in your blood, and you know how to tell a story! This position requires a special tenacity. The demands of the position often require evening and weekend work, especially when approaching big deadlines and major events. Ideal candidate must be comfortable with shifting timelines and priorities as needed. Key Responsibilities: * Creative Vision: Develop and articulate a compelling creative vision for keynote presentations that align with the company's brand and messaging. * Concept Development: Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate innovative ideas and concepts for keynote presentations. * Design Leadership: Oversee the design and production of all visual elements, including slides, animations, videos, and stage design. * Storytelling: Craft engaging narratives that effectively communicate the key messages and value propositions of new products and initiatives. * Project Management: Manage the end-to-end process of keynote presentation development, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. * Collaboration: Work closely with executives, product teams, marketing, PR, and external partners (when applicable) to ensure cohesive and impactful presentations. * Quality Control: Ensure all presentation materials meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and accuracy. * Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies (most notably AI capabilities that create efficiencies for the team) to continuously elevate the creative execution of presentations. * Team Leadership: Lead a team of designers and art directors, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest level of creative output. * Video Production: Oversee the art direction, design, and motion design of videos for the brand, ensuring they align with the overall creative vision. Collab on set design and art direction for video. * Workflow Management: Develop and manage workflows to ensure efficient and effective production processes, from initial concept to final delivery. * Workback Schedules: Create and maintain detailed workback schedules to ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met. * Human Resources Management: Oversee the recruitment, development, and performance management of the design team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. * Business Objectives: Understand key business objectives and priorities, ensuring that all creative work aligns with and supports these goals. * Communication Design: Communicate complex details and ideas to broad audiences through effective communication design. * Brand Expertise: Become an expert in the brand, with an in-depth understanding of key business storylines. * Idea Translation: Translate ideas into compelling designs and lead the team to understand and build presentations that best support the story. Qualifications: * Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience leading teams in creative direction, graphic design, or a related field, with a strong portfolio of high-profile keynotes and presentations. * Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams, with excellent project management and organizational skills. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), and familiarity with rapidly advancing AI creative tools for design and animation. * Communication: Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. * Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering flawless presentations. * Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with large-scale event and keynote presentations for executives and large brands. * In-depth expertise of motion graphics and video production. * Background in technology or consumer electronics industry. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
