Java Full Stack Developer

In Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small team consisting of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers, and analysts who specialize in data processing work together to build software faster. Cognizant is looking for an expert and innovative Java Full Stack Developer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build groundbreaking, cloud-based software that powers modern business. • Develop, maintain, enhance, and test client systems of moderate to high complexity.
• Implement full software development life cycle (SDLC), build high-quality, innovative, and performing software
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high quality code.
• Estimate technical efforts of agile sprint stories
• Implement performance optimized solutions and improve performance of existing systems.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact on client engagements.
• Investigate and resolve complex data, system, and software issues in the production environment.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred with 8-10 years of validated experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Knowledge of Java, Sprint Boot, VueJS, Unit Testing, AWS (ECS, Fargate, Lambda, RDS, OpenSearch, Cloudwatch, SQS, SNS), Data Dog, Kibana, Agile SDLC
• Optional knowledge of .NET, Python, Angular, SQL Server, AppD, New Relic

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
