Printpack Medical is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Account Manager. This position is responsible for effectively managing sales and market share growth in the sales territory. This will be achieved by strengthening relationships with existing customers and developing new customers for the company.

The position must be located near a major airport and will report to the Medical Sales Manager. 30-50% travel in the United States and Mexico. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field of study

  • Minimum of five years of business-to-business sales or customer facing experience

  • Must be willing to travel 30%-50% of the time in the United States and Mexico

This position requires strong skills in the following areas:
  • Previous work experience in the Flexible Packaging Industry is preferred

  • Prospecting/New Business Generation

  • Large Account Management

  • Multi-level Relationship Management

  • Strategic and Tactical Planning

  • Implementing/Decision Making

  • Negotiating

  • Problem-Solving

  • Verbal and Written Communication; Listening Skills

  • Financial Acumen - understand the financial impact of decisions

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong personal relationships with customers and prospects at all levels of the organization.

  • Responsible for the maintenance, sales growth, and profitability of current & future accounts.

  • Develop and maintain account plans on how the accounts will achieve targets and identify specific actions to improve profits.

  • Effectively manage all internal and external communication related to existing business and new business onboarding.

  • Identify, understand and communicate customer, industry and end-user needs to the organization.

  • Successfully manage complex selling situations using Strategic and Conceptual Selling principles to drive profitable growth.

  • Develop new profitable business. Build and maintain an active opportunity pipeline.

  • Participate in pricing and contract analysis, evaluations and negotiations.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and project timing.

  • Complete administrative functions in a thorough, accurate and timely manner.
