About The Role

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to Altabank Core Values.
  • Keeps management appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
  • Participate in Community Service and Bank sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of the Altabank.
  • Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel). Answer email and phone messages timely, same day or next day.
  • Represent Altabank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive "can-do" attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs. Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy. Attends and participates in meetings as required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance in order to accomplish, among other things, in-person contact with customers.
  • Duties can change.
  • Responsible for identifying and monitoring all loans that qualify for HMDA reporting, ensuring accurate completion of all HMDA reviews and assisting with accurate reporting to the LAR with no errors.
  • Analyzes results of audits for HMDA corrections. Provides remedial training as needed.
  • Ensures adverse action documentation for second reviews is complete, ensures accurate documentation and proper electronic storage of the adverse action files.
  • Ensures reporting for EQOA, FCRA and SFHA's, is distributed timely to the needed recipients.
  • Assists in the reconciliation of vendor reports against the Bank's reports for current flood properties to ensure that all flood properties are properly designated in the Bank's core system.
  • Assists in the timely completion of all subpoena requests.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties and projects as necessary.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual learner responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given, they need to reach out to their supervisor for further clarification or additional training.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00.


About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year to two years of similar or related experience

  • A high school education or GED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:

  • Successful completion of HMDA specific training given by GBCI HMDA Support.
  • Have read in full and understand the following procedures: HMDA Procedure Manual, GBCI Adverse Action Procedures, Consumer Loan Operating Systems Procedure Manual, Regulation B Application Procedure, and the Flood Determination and Insurance Procedure.
  • Ability to collect and analyze information in a consistent, measured way and problem solve as independently as possible. Detail oriented and a working knowledge of file organization.
  • Must display initiative in regard to resolving gaps in knowledge and resolving bank personnel inquiries and issues.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
