We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Operations Manager (Banking) to join our team. This role can be based at one of our San Diego locations-either our Torrey Pines HQ or our Golden Triangle offices-or at our Irvine Corporate Center. This is an in-office position with some travel required across the state.

Essential Functions:
  • Senior leader responsible for ensuring operational integrity, compliance with policies, and partners on product, policy and process development that supports the bank's branch network.
  • Manager acts as a point of escalation for operational losses, business continuity, customer complaint and resolution and is tasked with maintaining high standards for risk management and operational performance of the branch network
  • Ensures adequate and efficient branch staffing using the branch staffing model and management of utility staff
  • Strong grasp of branch operations, bank policies, procedures, and regulations governing job responsibilities
  • Responsible for transaction approvals within assigned limits
  • Communicate Bank policies, procedures, and regulations to branch personnel in coordination with the Division Sales Executive
  • Collaborates effectively with central Enterprise Risk Management, Bank Operations, and Product Partners as it relates to branch banking and retail products
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to optimize branch operational performance
  • Review and analyze existing business-specific work processes and propose changes
  • Responsible for providing training as needed
  • Additional responsibilities: other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility.


Qualifications:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, banking, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years' experiencewith a proven track record in banking, management, financial analysis, risk management, and relationship management.
  • Thorough understanding of banking regulations and laws. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Management of direct reports to include coaching and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional ability to interact with senior management and customer personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues, enhancing the client and employee experience.
  • Excellent strategic planning, project, and change management skills. Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and circumstances to complete assignments effectively, ensuring continuous improvement in client and employee satisfaction.
  • Advanced experience in identifying and assessing solutions and creating business and financial cases to enhance the client and employee experience.


Pay Range: $170,000 - $200,000 based on experience and other job-related factors.
