What You Will Do: The AVP of Projects is a critical leadership role responsible for the strategic design, development and implementation of a best in class onboarding program for the Professional Products Division. This role will create a seamless and engaging experience that integrates new hires and transfers into the division's culture, equips them with the knowledge and resources to succeed and fosters continuous learning and upskilling for employees to understand our division, functions/brands, customers, systems, tools, and processes. Responsibilities:.
- Onboarding Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive onboarding strategy aligned with PPD business objectives, initiatives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Onboarding Program Design & Implementation: Lead the development, and implementation of a structured and engaging onboarding program that effectively decodes the ways of working within the division. This includes defining learning objectives, creating engaging content, and selecting appropriate delivery methods
- Onboarding Program Management: Oversee the execution of the onboarding program, including facilitation, scheduling sessions, coordinating speakers, managing logistics, and tracking participant progress.
- Content Creation & Curation: Develop and curate engaging and informative onboarding materials, including presentations, training guides, videos, and online resources. Ensure content is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with brand standards.
- Business Tools & Data Training: Develop and implement a strategy for the initial learning and continued education of business tools, data, and reports relevant to new joiners in the division.
- Collaboration & Alignment: Partner with PPD Leaders, Centers of Excellence, and the Global and US People Development & Learning team to align on learning opportunities, share divisional content, and leverage existing resources.
- Performance Measurement & Analysis: Develop and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of the onboarding program. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the program's impact on employee performance and business outcomes.
- Special Divisional Projects: Lead special divisional projects as assigned
- Vendor Management: Source and manage external vendors to develop and deliver specialized training content, tools, and/or platforms, when needed.
What We Are Looking For: Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Organizational Development
- 7+ years of experience leading, managing, training and motivating teams and high volume of business with diverse skill sets, with a demonstrated ability to communicate vision and execute strategy
- Proven track record of success as a strategic leader in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High degree of executive maturity with excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven approach to decision making
- Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and operate in a matrixed organization
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Create a work environment which is open, honest, collaborative and accountable through clear, consistent communication that is inclusive and influences teams and partners.
- Flexible, adaptable, ability to handle fast pace and operate with ambiguity

- Proficiency in applications including Power Point, Excel, Word, and similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-year experience in Professional Beauty Industry
- 3-5 years Education/ Learning & Development experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferable
