You Are:

You are a passionate and innovative engineer with a strong background in VLSI design and software engineering. You thrive in dynamic environments and are eager to tackle complex challenges. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to continually learn and explore new technologies. You are collaborative, communicative, and enjoy working as part of a team to drive groundbreaking advancements in the field of chip design. Experience with placement technology, solvers, static timing analysis, netlist optimization, and physical synthesis flow is highly desired. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Tcl, as well as knowledge of VLSI processes and physical design methodology, will be essential in this role.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Enhance the multi-voltage technology of Fusion Compiler or IC Compiler II.
  • Analyze customer problems and results to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement new algorithms in software.
  • Design and test new or alternative flows in customer methodologies.
  • Collaborate with fellow R&D engineers, Customer Application Engineers (CAEs), and Account Consultants (ACs) on various projects and customer engagements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design implementation tools and processes.

What You'll Need:
  • Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, with 2 years of professional experience, or a Ph.D. in a related field.
  • Strong desire to learn and explore new technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with placement technology, solvers, static timing analysis, netlist optimization, and physical synthesis flow.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Tcl.
  • Knowledge of VLSI processes and physical design methodology, including timing, area, power, and congestion concepts.
  • Understanding of compilers and advanced technology nodes used in IC design, ranging from 16nm to 5nm.

We work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including fellow R&D engineers, CAEs, and ACs, to deliver exceptional results and drive technological progress.
