About the Opportunity:
Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment while contributing to recruitment strategy, marketing, employer branding, and employee engagement initiatives. The intern will also learn about HR processes specific to a manufacturing setting, supporting our mission of continuous improvement and exceptional quality. Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Support marketing and employer branding efforts to enhance our presence as an employer of choice.
- Engage with employees to promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement.
- Learn and support HR processes specific to a manufacturing environment.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires.
- Collaborate with HR team members on various projects and initiatives.
- Participate in organizing employee events and engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized HR records and documentation.
- Support compliance with HR policies and regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR department.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Strong interest in HR, recruitment, and employee engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or work experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing for employer branding.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
