*Must currently live in Knoxville, TN. * *Description* Highway Transport Enterprises is a Knoxville, TN based trucking/logistics organization specializing in the transportation and handling of chemical products. HTL is located across the continental US as well as Canada and is rapidly growing both in their fleet size and footprint with an emphasis on customer service, safety, and modernization. They have an internal IT department that is currently focused on modernizing a lot of existing homegrown systems and moving them into a new Data warehouse environment as well as implementing new systems for automation and better development. HTL is looking to expand their internal development team to assist in the process of modernizing and maintaining existing applications. Most business applications within HTL are homegrown and these team members will work in fixing these while primarily focusing in modernizing them as they work towards moving into a Cloud environment (they're still several years away from being in the cloud). This role will report to the IT Manager as well as the VP of IT and sit on a team totaling 6 developers. They rely on some outsourced contract teams for special projects as well. This role is highly collaborative with end users as well as other departments within or adjacent to IT. Candidates should be well versed in .Net fullstack development as well as possess the interpersonal skills needed to relay info to and from business units and end users. HTL has an open door environment and a mostly flat structure allowing for direct contact and collaboration with all managers within the IT department. HTL is an Agile shop and follows regular sprints and standups across the department. This is an on-site role located in Knoxville, TN. *Top Skills Details* Asp.net, .NetCore, Web API, Full stack, React ,Angular, C#. Net *Additional Skills & Qualifications* - Knowledge of the transportation/logistics industry is a plus. - MuleSoft experience is a plus. - Salesforce experience is a plus. - QA knowledge is a plus. - Azure experience is a plus. *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
