*Description*
The software engineer will provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms with self-sufficiency and some guidance. This person will collaborate with business and other IT teams to support their applications. Will actively participate in project and team planning meetings. Expected to work independently to complete tasks. Ability to assist others in troubleshooting production issues of small to medium complexity. Ability to estimate their tasks for the purpose of project planning. Essential Activities: Understanding of application technical design, data model and data structures. Understand the role of developers within SDLC and project management methodologies. Participate in the task estimation and design sessions. Complete application coding assignments that meet provided technical specifications and end-user requirements. Deliver high quality software that adhere to best practices enabling maintainable and extensible applications. Participate in sprint ceremonies. Perform production support or on call support tasks with minimal supervision. Participate in root cause analysis of issues related to the application and technology stack. Participate in self-learning in broader technologies and practices relevant to the application domain. Familiar with the change control process and tool sets seeking deployment and testing automation. Understands key business stakeholders relevant to the application team. Ability to understand and evaluate requirements, their purpose and impact to business and their processes. Demonstrates business knowledge by actively participating and providing relevant suggestions and insight. Understands and ensures security guidelines, compliance and other business standards are followed to support the application. Perform daily tasks with little to no supervision. Able to manage workload and identify the need for leader's assistance for prioritization. Participates in team decisions making, completes appropriate share of work in order to meet goals. Possess the communications skills that can be utilized to effectively collaborate with team. May assist in training and on boarding of new developers. *Skills* C#, SQL, .NET, cloud, aws, api, Services, DynamoDB, docker, Asp.net, react, full stack, html *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Technical Skillset: .NET, C# Api and Services Dynamo BD Docker HTML/CSS/JavaScript Familiarity of Vue.JS/Knockout/Bootstrap or equivalent frameworks a plus. Experience with RESTful pattern (JSON). Building and operating Microservice based eco systems. Working knowledge of SQL and Databases Cloud based platforms and container services (AWS) *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
