The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Owner to lead the development and success of our Sales Portal software applications. In this role, you will serve as the crucial link between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the product not only meets user needs but also aligns with our strategic objectives. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, driving the product vision, and delivering high-quality solutions that enhance user satisfaction and drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Backlog Management: Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog to ensure the development team is working on the most valuable features and improvements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, gathering requirements, and ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Development Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the development team, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the product vision and user needs.
  • Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Continuously monitor product performance and user feedback, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to enhance the product.
  • Market Research & Trends: Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure the product remains competitive and meets the evolving needs of users.
  • Other duties and project as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 3- 5 years minimum experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role within an Agile software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Experience with user experience (UX) design and usability testing.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO).
  • This is a hybrid role that requires onsite presence at Danbury office a minimum of 3 days per week.
