We are seeking a full-time clinical social worker to join the Functional Neurological Disorders Unit in the Department of Neurology at MGH. The ideal candidate will provide a range of clinical social work services for patients presenting with complex medical and psychosocial concerns as part of the multidisciplinary team.
They will be proficient in conducting psychosocial assessments and experienced in crisis intervention, short-term counseling, trauma, and inter-professional collaboration. Excellent clinical, communication, and documentation skills are a necessity. The position schedule likely will be outpatient. Two days a week focused on pediatric patients, two days a week focused on adult patients, and one administrative day. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Master's of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program required. 2. Require current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or must obtain MA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within 4 months of hire date. 3.
