Join our team as the Director of Accounts Payable and take charge of driving the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the precision and efficiency of processing internal and external invoices, managing company credit card transactions, and ensuring timely payments to contractors and vendors. You will optimize financial workflows, boost operational efficiency, and lead a team to deliver exceptional results. Additional Details:

  • Supervise and mentor a dedicated team of accounts payable professionals, monitor their performance, and provide guidance as needed

  • Responsible for the effective performance of accounts payable functions

  • Manage credit card and transaction processing and reconciliation

  • Process invoices and payments

  • Process and verify accuracy of client billing for all transactions

  • Keep accounts accurate and current

  • Process expense reports for internal employees

  • Update and verify contractor information in our accounting system, including direct deposit information and W9

  • Responsible for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with team members and leadership

Requirements:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

  • Experience overseeing, mentoring, and delegating tasks

  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment

  • Advanced knowledge of accounting concepts, expense coding, and 1099 reporting

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and accounting software

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 10+ years of accounts payable experience preferred

  • 5+ years of leadership experience preferred

  • Workday experience preferred
