Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic Florida Transportation Marketing Team in Orlando, FL. Florida represents a strategic growth area for Dewberry, and in this role, you will be at the forefront of our expanding marketing efforts with transportation clients throughout the state.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in proposal management and development, with a critical focus on writing and editing technical proposals. You will play a key role in our Southeast Marketing Team, supporting our local transportation team, driving strategic pursuits, and collaborating with other marketers to develop winning proposals for our targeted clients. Your ability to effectively write, edit, and elevate proposal content will be crucial in this role. Knowledge of the Florida Department of Transportation's procurement process is a plus.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. Additional insurances, at no cost to the employee: life (employee only), accidental death and dismemberment, business travel and accident, and short- and long-term disability are also provided. Responsibilities

    Craft compelling and persuasive content for proposals, marketing materials, and other communications
  • Review and edit technical writing to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements
  • Responsible for the full life cycle of the transportation project pursuit process, including proposals, qualification packages, interviews, and presentations
  • Comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style for all presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials
  • Perform detailed writing, editing, formatting, and layout of marketing documents
  • Support Client Managers in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence gathering
  • Represent the firm appropriately with teaming partners and subcontractors, at conferences, and at business networking opportunities
  • Manage multiple proposal efforts and teams simultaneously within diverse markets and service offering


Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism, Graphic Design or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience with a focus on proposal writing and editing, ideally in the AEC industry
  • Experience with state/local proposal formats
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud desktop publishing applications (InDesign & Acrobat Pro)
  • Must have extensive computer software skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook,and Teams).
  • Knowledge of database/CRM systems, specifically Deltek Vision
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Effective proposal management skills including strong attention to detail, planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Must be flexible, self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple tasks, coordinate shifting priorities, respond to short-term deadlines, and carry a diverse workload with tight timelines

Salary Range

The projected range for this position is $60,000-$85,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
