Responsibilities

MTSI is seeking a Senior Level Intel Analyst with a TS/SCI clearance to provide support to a Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio. The analyst will conduct comprehensive intelligence analysis to support government acquisition programs. The individual must quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively. The individual will identify, assess, and mitigate threats, vulnerabilities and other potential risks to acquisition programs. The analyst will formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists the Government with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. May collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, service, or products. May develop program evaluation, review, or implementation tools or dashboards that further the Government's acquisition strategy goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Duties to be independently executed include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct research and analysis of foreign intelligence threats and vulnerabilities to acquisition programs.
  • Provide direct intelligence support to internal program customers, and external partners to include AFMC, AFLCMC, AFRL, AFTC, NASIC, NSIC, Intelligence Community partners and others.
  • Foster and manage relationships with the stakeholders above and identify other potential partner organizations to create more synergy within the program office program protection.
  • Coordinate across Air Force and Space Force intelligence elements to identify and develop solutions and resource plans to address emerging requirements.
  • Provide technical analysis of relevant intelligence from multiple disciplines (SIGINT, IMINT, HUMINT, etc.) that can be used across the weapon system's lifecycle.
  • Conduct all-source intelligence research and analysis and write concise, well sourced intelligence assessments, briefings, and RFI responses in conformance with intelligence community analytic standards.
  • Understand and apply the integration and interoperability of these systems and their components, and the policies and processes that govern USAF acquisition and intelligence activities.
  • Research intelligence products and ensure data is available to customers.
  • Quickly fuse multiple disparate data sources, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments based on the implications of that data, and make decisions and/or recommendations based on the assessments.
  • Evaluate both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity.
  • Identify intelligence gaps relevant to program goals and use thorough understanding of the intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting cycle to influence IC collection efforts.
  • Characterize system threats over multiple operating conditions and environments.
  • Conduct complex research; evaluate, analyze and fuse multi-INT reporting to satisfy a broad range of customer threat assessment requirements.
  • Monitor operational data to maintain situational awareness of threat environments.
  • Develop threat briefings and other documents as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain intelligence databases and analytical tools.

Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of ten (10) years Intelligence Analyst experience.
  • Knowledgeable of the national intelligence community, Joint DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations.
  • Knowledge of National, Joint/DoD, and Air Force acquisition policy, guidance, and capabilities covering all facets of acquisition and intelligence, including the full range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to provide threat support to DoD acquisition programs
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the role intelligence plays in capability development and MS&A projects and programs within the USAF.
  • Understanding of threat systems and system of systems, adversary strategic capability and air and counter air operations.
  • 12 months or more of experience in a SAP environment within the last 3 years highly preferred.
  • Intelligence community production or collection experience.
  • Briefing and report authoring experience.
  • The ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners researching, producing, and disseminating products.
  • Experience in mission operations environment - operations tempo, situational awareness reporting, and anomaly support.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office products, including OneNote.
  • Possess a high degree of initiative and the ability to perform day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Outstanding analytical and planning skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, e.g., Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or a closely related field of study.

Even better if you have these desired skills:

  • 10-15 years Intelligence Analyst experience (not sure if that is desired, recommend putting something here)
  • Masters degree in an Engineering discipline, e.g., Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or a closely related field of study.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI with in-scope SSBI and SAP eligibility.
