Technical Editor Supervisory III Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support. Technical Editor Supervisory III Job Description: Technical Editor candidate needs to have experience including management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, estimating, customer support, and product delivery. Technical Editor Supervisory III Required Tasks: * Experience with developing, modifying, and reviewing Naval shipboard technical documentation and U.S. Navy Technical Manuals. * Experience with Model Based Product Support (MBPS) and Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML). The experience should include writing, editing, and reviewing technical materials in support of maintenance, repair, testing, product improvement, and/or alteration of Naval Ship HM&E and Electronic/Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment. * Experience may include supervising the work of other technical writers. Technical Editor Supervisory III Additional Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. This individual should have ten (10) years of experience. * Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen with no dual citizenship. * Proactive/self-starter. Task driven with ability to work independently. * Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships with the team members which fosters team success.
