Position Objective
This position drives the color center and its function for the company through structure, process and procedure that will elevate the quality of the merchandise and brand through consistency of color across all classifications and collections.
Functional Responsibilities

* Ensures that the standards of execution are set and maintained with vendors for all product classifications.

* Performs color analysis; providing comments and communication with suppliers on solid and print/pattern color submissions.

* Drives Vendor Certified Colorist program to ensure successful color approval in region.

* Partners with cross functional teams to ensure timeline are achieved.

* Stays abreast of new color technology for application.

* Acts as a mentor and resource to members of color team.

* Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree required.

* 5+ years in the retail industry with expertise in color analysis development with an excellent eye for color.

* Detail oriented with strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.

* Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

* Ability to function in a fast paced environment.

* Broad range of technical skills and knowledge. Ability to discern color differences; use of color spectrophotometers as a tool to assess color differences electronically and: knowledge of fabric, dyeing and finishing processes and how they influence color and quality consistency.

* Minimum of a "superior" rating on 100 Hue test with the ability to visually access acceptable and commercial color differences.
