POSITION SUMMARY



  • Accounts payable data entry, payment processing, and routine accounting functions



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Data entry of accounts payable as necessary
  • Audit of accounts payable invoices from plants
  • Process accounts payable payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit card) and associated reports
  • Process vendor related inquiries (new vendor set up, verify tax identification numbers, verify bank data, etc.)
  • Special analysis projects, as required
  • Back up support to accounts receivable cash processing
  • General filing
  • Perform other administrative support, as needed
  • Perform other essential functions, as assigned



JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS



  • Tier One Automotive Experience Preferred
  • PLEX experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates Degree in Business or Accounting preferred
  • Minimum of two years accounts payable experience
