Position Highlights:

• Position: Administrative Assistant I

• Hourly Pay Range: $18.11-31.62. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Location: Evanston, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Full time

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5:00pm

• Required Travel: no

What you will do:

• Schedules patient appointments and coordinates with other departments as appropriate.

• Provides helpful and accurate information to patients, physicians and others.

• Provides diversified administrative/secretarial duties to clinical leader/department to ensure efficient office operations.

• Maintains and coordinates all aspects of schedule and calendar for clinical leader and/or department.

• Provides general office support including answering phones, greeting visitors, ordering supplies, scanning, filing, etc.

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred

• Certification: n/a

• Experience: 1-2 years of related administrative/clerical support or scheduling experience required. Knowledge of medical terminology and/or experience in health care preferred.

• Unique or Preferred Skills: Computer skills including knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent organization, verbal and written communication, and transcription skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks and detailed work, problem solve, reason and perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of basic insurance and medical terminology.
