Overview of this Position:

Lead and manage tech transfer projects of new products into GRAM manufacturing facilities which includes engineering, clinical and PPQ batches and associated activities. Senior Project Manager is detail oriented and has excellent organizational, communication and management skills to engage with the project team and client team members. Build a strong rapport with key client contacts and GRAM leaders through demonstration of sound decision making and solution-oriented approach. Responsible for the creation, execution, monitoring and control of project schedules, risk management, assigning responsibilities, action items and critical path items, and day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope. Responsible for authoring project work orders and change orders.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or other Life Sciences or related field
  • 10 years related work experience in a manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
  • Experience in a drug product pharmaceutical organization.
  • Direct work experience in project management capacity, specifically with tech transfer of products into a sterile manufacturing facility.
  • Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook PowerPoint, and/or other relevant Project Management software.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership, managing people.
  • Experience in risk management.
  • PMP Certification.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead the initiation, planning, execution, control and closure of tech transfer projects.
  • Act as a liaison between client team members/leadership and GRAM project team members/leadership.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business / technical solutions.
  • Assists with the management of global customer relationships and programs.
  • Facilitate the planning and definition of the project scope, milestones, risks, goals, and deliverables through assigning and tracking the implementation of change controls, tech transfer plans, and templated project management tools.
  • Work with all internal departments at GRAM to manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate project status meetings with project team followed up with meeting agendas and minutes to all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate, document, and track the identification of projects risks and the associated risk mitigation plans.
  • Identify, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Communicate relevant project information to leadership.
  • Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
  • Set and manage customer expectations and manage day-to-day interaction.
  • Seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen relationships.
  • Availability to flex schedule to host customers while onsite.
  • Assists with the professional development of the Project Managers and Associate Project Managers.
