THE JOB:

La Petite Maison (LPM) Restaurant is looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Food & Beverage team as a Bus Person! In this role, you'll be the backbone of our dining experience, keeping the restaurant spotless, organized, and running smoothly. From maintaining the dining room and beverage stations to ensuring everything is stocked and ready for service, your attention to detail will help create a seamless and unforgettable experience for our guests.

THE STARTING RATE:$17.7829 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service

• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset any additional tabletop items needed

• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles

• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently

• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed

• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1+ years of experience in a similar service role, such as Bus Person or Food Server in a full-service restaurant setting

• Exhibits proficiency in a high-volume environment

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members

• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
