SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our API Program. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the payments industry and a background with functional knowledge of API's. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skills who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This is a fully remote opportunity based in FL, SC, NC, AL, GA, VA, TX, or CO.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external professional services, IT, and lines of business to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.

• Creation of business/functional requirements, process maps, and solution design documents as it relates to the client API program.

• Establish a framework for producing and maintaining collateral for all development projects in the API Program.

• Serve as a key contributor in the overall API Program, working with the line of business and IT on the delivery and continuous refinement of APIs to meet evolving business needs.

• Help to clearly take complex requirements and technical information to summarize into Management Reporting status and objectives.

• Build out plans on lifecycle build, with timelines, priorities and achievement goals.

COMPETENCIES

• Expertise in Business Process documentation, analysis requirements documentation and other project artifacts.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

Education: College Degree Preferred

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis with a focus on technical projects.

• 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically within payments.

• Required annual compliance training

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Examples: Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk. This position requires lifting boxes and coin on a daily basis. This position requires the ability to drive a company vehicle to and from other locations. This position may require bending and reaching.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered. Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
