JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Architecture Governance Analyst will be responsible for organizing architecture information of the enterprise and governing its accuracy, integrity and use. This position will play a pivotal role in establishing a single source of truth for architecture information and defining the process to maintain the information, deriving insight and ensuring successful use of the insights across the entire technology and product organizations. Other responsibilities include managing architecture governance processes and overseeing their continual improvement, and supporting new hire onboarding/orientation activities within the Enterprise Architecture team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish architecture meta-model by investigating and adopting industry meta-model frameworks.
  • Implement architecture meta-model in the architecture repository and system.
  • Define the process and workflow to maintain the information in the repository and ensure its accuracy through reviews, reports, and other governance processes.
  • Evangelize the use of architecture repository for insights and assessments.
  • Integrate architecture repository with other technology systems and processes such as asset, incident, and change management.
  • Own and manage architecture governance process including creation of charter, periodic review, and continual improvements.
  • Conduct periodic governance exercises such as application assessment, standards refresh, and review of architecture exceptions.
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders, and provide assistance in addressing questions and concerns.
  • Create reports and analyze data to identify solutions that meet business goals with respect to EA information management and governance.
  • Analyze current processes and identify existing or potential problems in order to discover new process improvement opportunities.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience w/Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience preferred
  • Experience working with and as part of architecture team to understand the information useful for quality architecture assessments, visual representations of the systems, etc.
  • Solid understanding of Planview to manage architecture information
  • Knowledge of architecture domains including application, data, technology, and cyber and how their concerns can be represented using meta-models
  • Understanding of TOGAF, Zachman or such architecture frameworks is preferred
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), both traditional and agile
  • Ability to rapidly ramp up on new subjects and synthesize relevant information
  • Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions based on analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to simultaneously focus on big picture, details, and driving results
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite (especially Excel/PowerPoint), and PowerBI

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 21. $80,500 - $174,300
