Job Title: Billing Specialist (AIA Billing) Location: Decatur, GA Schedule: On-site, 5 days a week Job Summary: The AIA Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing billing and invoicing for construction projects in accordance with AIA billing standards and methodologies. This role requires a strong understanding of construction contracts, billing procedures, and the ability to work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate and timely billing. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process invoices and billing statements for construction projects. Ensure compliance with AIA billing standards and contract requirements. Communicate with project managers and subcontractors to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries. Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and project financials. Prepare monthly billing reports and supporting documentation. Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure timely payment collection. Provide support for billing-related questions and issues from clients and subcontractors. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in billing for medium to large-scale construction projects. Knowledge of AIA billing standards and construction contracts. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and various ERPs.
