Pay: $55,000-60,000 based on experience with Bonus Opportunity
POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Branch Manager provides support to the Branch Manager and assists in the direction and coordination of the activities of technicians and branch service support personnel.
This position will report directly to the Branch Manager and will aid and assist fulfilling duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:
Operations Management:
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering parts and supplies.
- Monitor technician productivity and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with technicians on scheduling and job assignments.
- Ensure proper documentation of service calls and repairs.
- On daily basis by directly or indirectly overseeing all or portions of branch service support staff and technicians as assigned.
- Train and mentor new technicians and administrative team on company procedures and customer service standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to team
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new employees.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and report on branch performance metrics (sales, customer satisfaction, revenue).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for service calls and customer information.
Administrative Tasks:
- Participates in establishing and implementing technicians work schedules and on call schedules.
- Support team with administrative tasks such as invoice processing and paperwork as needed
- Assist Branch Manager with budget management and cost control.
Customer Service:
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Interacts with branch and administrative personnel to resolve customer disputes.
- Assists with preparation and\or delivery of repair quotes, job bids, and\or Planned Maintenance agreements as needed.
- Support dispatch team in scheduling service appointments efficiently
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address concerns.
- Review customer billing disputes and issues.
- Support sales efforts and follow up with potential customers.
- Assist the sales team in closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications| Education | Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a related service industry (HVAC, commercial kitchen equipment) a plus
- 1-2 years of related management and or supervisory experience preferred
- Completion of satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
- Valid Driver's License and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
