Responsibilities

New opportunity with the Bruker NANO Finance Team for a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to provide high quality financial information, partnering, and support for the business group.

Please note this position can be remote based in the US, with a strong preference for candidates residing in EST or CST time zone.

    Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making and business group objectives.
  • Coordinate annual strategic plan & budget preparation and regularly monitor financial actuals compared to plan, identifying opportunities for cost optimization, operational and financial process enhancement, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze group financial models and forecasts including interpretation of opportunities and risks (such as revenue, profit and loss) as well as the preparation of financial and management reports to support business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company's financial health and performance.
  • Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, and provide comprehensive financial models and projections.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend strategies for risk mitigation to safeguard the company financial stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, support decision-making, prepare reports, and drive financial best practices across the organization.
  • Leverage insights and opportunities with a view to operational and financial improvement of segment results (such as expenditure analysis, proposal for cost reduction measures, inventory analyses by profit centers and product families).
  • Support the executive team with special analysis and insights on key areas.
  • Creation of ad hoc analyses & support for international projects.
  • Proactively partner and communicate with business group colleagues in multiple global locations.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting. Advanced and continuing education preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive and recent financial controlling, planning, and analysis professional work experience in a global manufacturing company, preferably within biotech or life sciences (such as Manager Financial Analysis or Senior Financial Analyst).
  • Hands on work experience with SAP R3 / SAP S4 HANA. Also, BPC and SAC strongly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, including excellent Excel and PowerPoint expertise.
  • Excellent verbal, written, quantitative, technical, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills with English fluency required.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with proven ability to systematically work through complex topics.
  • Advanced business acumen and analytical skills to deliver insightful and credible data and analysis to support recommendations and decisions.
  • Self-driven with an efficient and structured approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a global team.
  • Excellent problem solving, project and resource management skills with advanced understanding of systems, financial modeling, and data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a cross-functional, global, matrixed environment to build relationships and achieve results.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverables, prioritize, effectively plan resources, work across multiple time zones, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain current knowledge of company products, markets, and industry trends.
  • Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete position training and compliance requirements.
  • Reliable transportation and valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
  • Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel.
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $119,700 and $213,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits, including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
