Site Operations Specialist
Location:Stennis Space Center, MI Job ID: #70572 Pay Range: $27-32 The Site Operations Specialist provides essential services to ensure the smooth operation of the business/site by performing a variety of tasks. Daily Interface: Engage with management, employees, and customers on EH&S and technical training matters. Ensure activities align with organizational and program standards and procedures. Training System Management: Develop proficiency in critical training system inputs and update the team on policy or system changes. Maintain and validate processes for hazardous operations and skill certifications before task assignments. Ensure timely and accurate data entry for EH&S training completions and qualifications, including contractor personnel. Technical Training Coordination: Support coordination to ensure 100% compliance and completion of site-scheduled training. Maintain and update the Site Calendar to support daily work schedules. Produce and distribute certification/qualification reports to management. Ensure attendance for all NASA and third-party training and notify NASA Training of any no-shows to avoid missed reports. Training Module Review: Develop, schedule, and validate periodic reviews of all site EH&S-related training modules with Subject Matter Experts. Make necessary updates/changes in the training data system. Medical Surveillance Coordination: Identify medical surveillance needs and coordinate with appropriate entities for funding and reconciliation. Notify employees and managers of scheduled medical surveillance appointments. Work with Enterprise Health Services to ensure accurate data entry and exchange. Provide periodic reports of medical surveillance needs to EH&S and Finance. Training Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule all internal and external EH&S-related training with designated training entities and the Finance Office. Manage training schedules for SSC support at KSC and vice versa for KSC/NASA/Boeing/Cosmic-Jacobs employees. Skills: Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) security clearance. Preferred: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. High accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively. Proactive and positive attitude. Education: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
