Regulatory Improvement Consultant

Regulatory Improvement Consultant Job Responsibilities:



  • The Regulatory Improvement Consultant leads, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates regulatory readiness and drives and sustains improvements.
  • Leads strategic initiatives and operational priorities and identifies, analyzes and manages regulatory compliance risks.
  • Prepares the organization for regulatory surveys by conducting audits and tracers.
  • Guides onsite survey and complaint response coordination and follow-up activities.
  • Guides and facilitates senior leaders, medical staff, clinical leaders and other key stakeholders to identify, analyze and resolve complex regulatory compliance issues.
  • Ensures follow-through on interventions and action plans with key stakeholders.
  • Communicates progress and difficulties with team and recommends interventions and solutions to project leadership and executive sponsors.
  • Identifies, analyzes and manages regulatory compliance risks.
  • Classifies and prioritizes regulatory compliance issues and works with key stakeholders to apply appropriate tools to improve operational processes affecting regulatory outcomes.
  • Leads and facilitates tracers and other regulatory assessment and evaluation tools.
  • Designs strong and appropriate interventions for regulatory issues.
  • May perform other projects and duties as assigned.


Regulatory Improvement Consultant Requirements for Consideration:



  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday day shift with one remote day per week.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field

    • or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Experience: 4 years of experience in a healthcare related field and highly preferred experience in clinical regulatory or quality improvement in a hospital setting
  • Training: 6months of training onsite, will transition to hybrid thereafter
