Job Summary

Working closely with AUSA's CEO, CFO and the executive leadership team, the SVP, FPA & Growth will elevate the partnership with cross-functional teams and business leaders to optimize revenue through disciplined evaluation of assets and investment opportunities using data driven insights. This includes overseeing pricing and promotions across all product lines, analyzing the viability and profitability of new business opportunities, and maximizing working capital. This role will also oversee the monthly forecasting, annual budget, and long-range planning initiatives, ensuring stakeholder partnership and accountability, as well as timely execution of activities. Paramount to success in this role will be establishing and driving a data driven culture to enable fast, informed decisions about costs, profitability, and overall financial health.

Responsibilities
  • Actively partner with senior leadership and corporate finance partners to set, monitor, and deliver on operating budget performance. Build an associated culture and discipline that delivering on-plan performance is the expectation.
  • Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring the organization has processes in place to regularly assess financial health and performance against budget.
  • Oversee working capital and strategic pricing activities, ensuring optimal pricing and packaging is applied in diverse markets to achieve both customer and financial growth.
  • Partner with key business leaders to ensure alignment on and delivery against key market and customer growth priorities, including market penetration target (stretch and attainable).
  • Leverage business intelligence to drive informed data-driven decisions on key actions and opportunities aimed at strengthening the company's competitive position and operational and financial health.
  • Provide clear actions and communication to senior business leadership on established financial and operational leading and lagging indicators and performance against them.
  • Provide profitability analysis for current and prospective products/services, markets, and promotions in partnership with key business leaders.
  • Monitor market trends to predict customer behavior, plan new investments, and ensure existing products continue to meet customer needs in the diverse markets in which AUSA operates.
  • In partnership with HR/Total Rewards team, review and revise incentive plans by sales channel to ensure rewards and incentives are aligned to the organization's financial goals, KPIs, and growth plans.

Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of FP&A experience in a public company, including previous experience in a strategic leadership role.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, and extensive experience with financial planning, revenue planning, forecasting, modeling, and data analysis
  • Experience in telecommunications, media, and/or technology preferred
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and build effective business partnerships at senior levels of the organization
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to establish key operational metrics, summarize and interpret results, and develop strategic, actionable recommendations for leadership decision making

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $242,760.00-$346,800.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
