THE JOB: Join the team at Luxor Hotel & Casino as a Lost and Found Clerk and be part of an iconic Las Vegas destination! In this role, you'll be at the heart of guest service, managing all aspects of lost and found operations. From answering multi-line phones and assisting guests and employees with lost items to logging, sorting, and coordinating the return or shipment of belongings, you'll ensure every item finds its way back to its owner. You'll collaborate closely with security and housekeeping, maintain detailed records, and uphold MGM Resorts International's high standards of service. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and committed to creating exceptional guest experiences, we want to hear from you! THE STARTING RATE:$16 an hour THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Lost and Found Management: Log, sort, store, and coordinate the return of lost and found items to guests and employees. Guest Relations: Assist guests and staff with lost items, providing exceptional customer service and facilitating item returns, including shipping when necessary. Owner Recovery Efforts: Proactively attempt to locate owners of lost items through detailed documentation and communication. Property Coordination: Work closely with security and housekeeping to collect and track lost items from hotel rooms, casino floors, and public areas. Record Keeping: File all lost and found reports, security documents, and employee accident reports, ensuring proper documentation for records retention and Worker's Compensation. Unclaimed Items Handling: Sort and prepare unclaimed items for charitable donation following hotel and casino policies.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Minimum Age: Must be 21 years or older. Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Experience: Minimum of 6 months administrative experience preferred. Schedule Flexibility: Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Language Skills: Bilingual (English and another language) preferred.
