BID/JOB ANNOUNCEMENT SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT Business Affairs & Consumer Protection Number of Positions: 2 (Additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Salary: $60, 720.00 This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City's collective bargaining agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Three years of administrative, office assistant or secretarial experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. NOTE: Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following: * Previous experience working in an in-person, high volume, customer-facing environment * Previous experience working in intake, review, and processing of license applications. SELECTION REQUIREMENTS This position requires applicants to complete an interview which will include a written exercise and/or a skills assessment test as part of the interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the interview and skills assessment/written exercise will be selected.
